Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This policy explains what Ask AI 65+ collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to the Ask AI 65+ mobile app and to askai65.demograph.ai. Ask AI 65+ is published by Demograph, referred to below as “we” and “us”.

The short version

  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
  • We collect the minimum needed to run the app: your messages to the assistant, basic account details, and diagnostic information.
  • Your messages are sent to an AI provider so they can be answered. They are not used to advertise to you.
  • You can ask us to delete your account and your data at any time, and we will.

What we collect

  • Your conversations. The messages you send to the assistant and the replies you receive, so the app can maintain the thread of a conversation and show you your history.
  • Account information. If you create an account, the identifier you sign up with — typically an email address.
  • Purchase status. Whether you hold an active subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple; we never receive your card number or billing details.
  • Technical and diagnostic data. App version, device model, operating system version, and crash or error reports, used to find and fix faults.
  • Usage data. Aggregate information about which features are used and how often, so we know what to improve.

We do not ask for your contacts, photos, precise location or health data, and the app does not collect them in the background.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions and to operate the app.
  • To keep your conversation history available to you across sessions.
  • To provide customer support when you contact us.
  • To diagnose crashes, fix defects and improve reliability and quality.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

AI processing

To answer you, Ask AI 65+ sends the content of your messages to a third-party AI model provider that processes them on our behalf and returns a response. That provider is contractually restricted to processing your messages for the purpose of generating responses to you. Because of this, please do not enter information you would not want transmitted to a service provider — such as passwords, financial account numbers, identity document numbers or detailed medical information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only to the extent needed to do their job. These fall into a small number of categories:

  • The AI model provider that generates responses.
  • Cloud hosting and storage providers that run the service.
  • Crash reporting and analytics providers.
  • Apple, which handles App Store distribution, subscriptions and payment.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the safety of others. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction; this policy would continue to apply to it until you are notified otherwise.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use your conversations to build advertising profiles, and we do not serve third-party advertising in the app.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information and conversation history while your account is active, so you can go back to earlier conversations. Diagnostic and usage data is retained for a limited period for troubleshooting and trend analysis. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account and conversation history from our live systems and it falls out of routine backups thereafter. We retain the minimum required where the law obliges us to.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and we will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

Children

Ask AI 65+ is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a portable copy, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EU and UK have these rights under the GDPR; residents of California have comparable rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — which, as stated above, we do not do.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@askai65.demograph.ai. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International transfers

We and our service providers may process your information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where information is transferred out of the EU or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change, and we will revise the date at the top. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give you notice in the app or by email before it takes effect.
